OUR SUSTAINABILITY PILLARS

Thriving Communities

Our Thriving Communities pillar involves our positive multidimensional impact to the communities we operate in through our loved and trusted brands and our caring people.

Giving back to society is an intrinsic part of the Group’s philosophy ever since the beginning of its operation. Throughout our journey, we want to play our part in the prosperity of the communities in which we operate.

The Group aims to grow in a society that flourishes. In that way, there is the expressed commitment to support multiple NGOs and vulnerable groups through our well-planned donations, while we focus to recruit employees from local communities, to support their local economies.

Our commitments

  • Contributing directly to the local societies through recruiting from the local communities.
  • Giving back value to the society, through brand-based donations, financial support and co-operations with NGOs
  • Maintaining initiatives that address issues around health, well-being, and the environment.

Our progress

  • Local community recruitment accounts for more than 98% of employees.
  • Our contribution to the local community is also expressed through initiatives that focus on improving people's well-being, protecting the environment and educating our consumers.

  • We encourage our employees to actively participate in charitable projects and we take part in environmental protection programs.

We have celebrated the 10th anniversary of the “Clean Tatra Mountains” project, by supporting the initiative through the brand-based sponsorship of our homecare brand Jan Niezbędny. Many eco enthusiasts and mountain lovers gathered to the winter capital of Poland (Zakopane) to clean 275 km of the Carpathian Mountains from garbage.
