Sarantis Group organizational changes

GR. SARANTIS S.A. (the “Company”) announces to the Investment Community the following changes to its Executive Management, pursuant to the Resolutions of its Board of Directors dated 22.05.2023.

• Mr. Giannis Bouras, currently Chief Commercial Officer of the Group and executive member of the Board of Directors, will be appointed as of 12.06.2023, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and will be in charge of the overall management of the Group and its strategy, that includes the management of the Affiliates, the Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Human Resources Departments. Mr. Bouras will report to the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kyriakos Sarantis.
  Mr. Bouras has held the position of Group’s Chief Commercial Officer for the last three years. Before joining the Group, he held top managerial Positions in Minerva S.A. and PZ Cussons Group. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Thessaloniki and a post-graduate degree in Business Administration from Staffordshire University. He is certified from INSEAD in Corporate Governance.
• Mr. Kostas Rozakeas will be appointed, effective 12.06.2023, as Group Strategic Advisor reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kyriakos Sarantis.
  Mr. Rozakeas has been with the Group since 1995 and played a decisive role in the planning and execution of the Group’s expansion and development strategy. From his new position he will provide strategic guidance to the Group and will support the smooth transition of CFO duties to his successor.
• Mr. Christos Varsos will be appointed, effective 12.06.2023, as Chief Financial Officer of the Group, in replacement of Mr. Kostas Rozakeas.
  Mr. Varsos was, up to now, Partner in the Advisory Services Department of EY Greece, while in the past he was Head of Advisory Services to CFOs for Greece and Southeast Europe. Before joining EY, he was Regional CFO for Central Europe and Italy, CFO for Switzerland and Group Financial Planning and Analysis Director at Coca-Cola HBC. Previously, he was Financial Director in a shipping company of Greek interests, where he led its listing on the London Stock Exchange. He holds a degree from the Department of Banking and Financial Management from the University of Piraeus and is a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), in the United Kingdom.

  In the context of his duties, Mr. Varsos will be in charge of the Finance Department and also the Legal, IT, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications and GDPR departments.

The Board expresses its thanks to Mr. Rozakeas for his valuable performance and contribution as Chief Financial Officer of the Group over the last 27 years and congratulates Mr. Bouras and Mr. Varsos for their newly acquired positions and duties that aim in supporting the Group’s vision to become a leading consumer products company, both in Greece and abroad.
